Most people know me as Kangaji or Seja, but I've also gone by the online handles Coyangi and Syk.This is my general page. Here you can find more information about me, the games I enjoy, my characters, and my Role Play style. Basic Info

NAME: I go by Seja (세자), but I'm also commonly known under the aliases Kangaji, Coyangi, and Syk.AGE: I am 27 years old.GENDER / SEXUALITY: I am a (FtM) transgender man. I consider myself gay and demisexual. I don't mind flirting or RPing with cis men, but I am ultimately t4t. This means I only date other trans men (or transmasculine male-aligned nonbinary people).When it comes to my role (this is 18+ info), I consider myself a side or a top (with a deep love for service topping); but I can be versatile for the right individual. My characters are usually more flexible than I am irl.
You'll notice that being transmasculine and gay is the one common thread between all of my characters, simply because it's what I feel most comfortable with.TIME ZONE: EST; but I have insomnia, so expect to see me around at random hours.BACKGROUND: I'm a first generation mixed-race Korean American immigrant with ethnically Jewish roots. What a mouthful, right?
I bring it up because my cultural experience plays a significant role in my character-building decisions. You'll notice a lot of names, themes, and concepts that are Korean or Hebrew in origin. I especially love incorporating folklore and mythology. Feel free to ask about any cultural inspiration behind a character, it's relevant every time.All that said...Please note that while my characters are usually based off of me or my experience in some way, they are NOT me.

Hobbies / Interests

Obviously, I am a fan of gaming and RP. But there are quite a few other things that I love.

ANIMALS: I'm currently not working while I heal from an injury, but normally I work with dogs for a living. I have a soft spot for senior animals in particular. My dog is a 10-year-old Chihuahua mix, and my cat is an 18-year-old domestic long hair. Both were adopted in their older years. I greatly enjoy hearing about other people's pets, so please feel free to tell me all about yours.MEDIA: My love language is talking over movies or shows. My favorite genres are horror, mystery, action, documentaries, reality competition shows, and anything campy or cheesy. I'm not a big comic guy - but I did go through a Marvel and DC phase, and I like superheroes in general. I enjoy YouTube videos about zoology, paleontology, film analysis, and video game playthroughs.MUSIC: When it comes to music, I have eclectic tastes but particularly enjoy experimental sounds. Examples of artists I listen to include Devi McCallion (my favorite!), Laura Les, Sophie, Will Wood and the Tapeworms, Girl In Red, Metric, Garbage, and Celldweller. I'm usually looking for new music, so feel free to give me some recommendations. I occasionally create my own music, but I'm not ready to share it yet.ART: This was my first passion and is still something I'd like to get into professionally. I've always been particularly in love with animation. Regardless of the type of media, though, I love seeing the work of others. So please feel free to show off your art to me.I should clarify that I really don't like Anime/Manga, Weeaboos, or Koreaboos. My respect for you will be massive if you aren't one or if you don't bring it up around me. I won't crap on your interests; I am not that kind of guy. But I will distance myself from related discussions for my own sanity lol. Thank you for understanding.

FAQ

Q: What do your names mean?
A: Seja means "crown prince" in Korean. This is my chosen name. As for my online handles, Kangaji means "puppy" in Korean, Coyangi means "cat" in Korean, and Syk is a secret acronym.Q: Why does your sexuality, gender, or ethnicity matter?
A: That's a complicated question, but I understand that specifying these things seems unnecessary to some. To put it simply, they're important factors in who I am, and bringing them up can help give context to my personality and writing choices.Q: What kinds of characters do you like to RP with?
A: Pretty much all of them! I'm not picky on species or personality so long as your character isn't blatantly bigoted. It matters much more to me that the person behind the character is a mature, respectful, fun person with creative ideas. Please tell me all about your characters, I absolutely LOVE hearing about what people come up with!Q: What kind of RP do you like?
A: Give my RP Info a look for a more detailed answer. To be succinct, I am open to most types, but favor long-term story-based RP. I welcome ERP under the right circumstances.Q: Do you have an F-List?
A: No, but I do have my own list I made from scratch. I can share it upon request.

Preferences

CHARACTERS: As you'll notice from my lists, I have severe alt-itis! I just love designing characters and writing their stories. Although I vary them as well as I can, I have an affinity for monsters, shapeshifters, demons, furries/scalies, and other inhuman entities. Many of these characters don't come into play often, but they can be requested or brought up if relevant.PLATFORMS: I welcome discord RP or in-game RP. Look at the sections below for a list of games I play. Other RP platforms will be considered so long as they are accessible.TYPE: I am open to most kinds of RP. I'm partial to story-based RP with overarching plotlines. But while I most enjoy very intensive collaborative writing, I also welcome more casual interaction. I am open to ERP, but I only enjoy engaging in that under specific scenarios. Please feel free to ask for more info if that's something you're interested in. I struggle a bit with PVP, and things done in a DND format, but am still willing to try.STYLE: My responses are usually in paragraph form and tend to be very descriptive. But I can adapt to shorter replies as well. As I mentioned above, a DND style RP is more difficult for me (only because I suck with numbers).Please note that while in-game walkups are welcome, I prefer to have discussions prior to RP so that we can set expectations and come up with fun ideas together. I also prefer to only RP with other adults, regardless of the content.

Elder Scrolls Online: This is what I'm most active in right now. I'm a returning player, and this is the only TES game I've played, so I'm still learning the lore. My in-game handle is @Kangaji. Previous Games

There are a few games I've previously played but no longer am active in.Champions Online: I don't really touch this game anymore, but I still love the customization options that are unavailable in other games. Despite my inactivity, my character list is still available; you can learn more about my characters for this game here.DC Universe Online: I was active here during my DC phase, but slowly drifted away. I've never RPed here, but that doesn't mean that I wouldn't try it.Black Desert Online: I tried this for a little while, but never explored the community before getting bored of it. I've never RPed here, but that doesn't mean that I wouldn't try it.I would consider replaying any of these games if I had an RP partner who enjoyed them.I've also tried a tiny bit of Final Fantasy XIV and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, but never really got into either of them due to my lack of interest in anime fandoms. I might retry FFXIV for the right person, but I doubt I'll ever get into DBX2.I am always interested in new recommendations for good MMOs. I really like games with good character customization. House customization is a major bonus.I'm not as into single player games, but I do like to watch other people play them.

History

I have been RPing since the early 2000s when I played my first MMORPG, Furcadia. Although I was young at the time, this introduction was the foundation of my affinity for Role Play.

I've gone through plenty of different MMOs and RP platforms over time, frequently looking for new avenues to find good writing partners as spaces would die down.In recent years I've stepped back a bit to focus on my career. But I'm trying to return to more long-term RP and hope to develop a fun community to write with.
